URL Encoding

When an external ID is used as a path parameter (e.g., DELETE /v1/projects/{id}/external-ids/{externalId}), the value must be percent-encoded. Most HTTP clients handle this automatically.

DELETE /v1/projects/497f6eca-6276-4993-bfeb-53cbbbba6f08/external-ids/hubspot%3A12345

Note: External IDs containing a forward slash (/) are not supported, as %2F in URL path segments is rejected by the server.
